Prescription refills

If a provider at Novant Health Primary Care East Rowan has prescribed a medication for you or your child, please call your pharmacy when you have at least a three-day supply of your medication remaining. That will give your pharmacist time to refill your prescription or to contact our office if permission is needed.  Please do not call our office as that will delay the refill process.

Some medications require that you take a hard copy of your prescription to your pharmacy. If a medication prescribed for you or your child falls into this category, you will be told when the medication is first prescribed.

If you are having difficulty taking your medication, please let your pharmacy and our office know.
